Useful memory.
Your choice.
This page covers cookies and similar storage used by StudentStart UK. It also explains what may change when the website moves from this local preview to public hosting.
No advertising or analytics storage currently activeNeeded to respect your choice or protect the service.
The website may remember whether you allowed saved preferences so it does not repeatedly ask. WordPress can set login and security cookies for administrators. These are not used to build an advertising profile.
Colour, plan and checklist progress.
If you select “Allow saved preferences”, local browser storage can remember the chosen light colour atmosphere, arrival plan and checklist progress. These values stay on the device and are not sent to a StudentStart visitor account.
The site still works.
Selecting “Use without saving” prevents StudentStart’s optional preferences from being written to persistent browser storage. You can still read every guide and use the tools for the current page.
None currently installed.
The audited theme has no analytics pixel, advertising tracker, social-media widget, video iframe or third-party script embed. External links open another organisation’s website, where that organisation’s cookie and privacy policies apply. A new embed or tracking service must be assessed and, where required, blocked until consent.
You stay in control.
Use the buttons on this page at any time. Clearing saved data removes StudentStart’s optional plan, checklist and colour values. Opening the choice panel lets you allow or decline future saving.
Recheck after launch changes.
The live host, plugins and forms must be checked again before launch and after every material change because they may introduce additional cookies or storage. The ICO storage and access technologies guidance ↗ explains the current UK rules.
